After announcing that her debut EP I hope u see this will be dropping on the 29^th of October, Los Angeles-based singer Thuy has treated us with an official music video for her brand-new track ‘in my head’, which is more than likely to feature on the project. This artist says she wrote this song "about going back to a bad relationship", and this is clearly illustrated by the lyrics, ‘I’ve been up all night feeling so damaged, maybe I should spend less time with u getting caught up’; showing how she knows this person is wrong for her yet she can’t escape them. This sentiment is complimented perfectly by the video, which is shot in black and white to better display all of the pain Thuy experiences from being in this relationship and the incorporation of colour shows how she has found herself when she leaves him. We can’t wait to listen to the rest of the EP when it drops next week, as this single has left us highly anticipating the music Thuy is going to provide. Check ‘in my head’ out now. -Shanice L
